"...let's give America the kind of comeback that New Hampshire has just given me"
---Hillary Clinton, January 8, 2008

Is a 2% victory really the type of comeback America needs?

Or do we need a candidate that will draw in independents, moderate Republicans and the youth of America?

Just askin'.

As an observer from the sidelines (albeit one who experienced the political process first hand in the run-up to the NH Primary), it concerns me that the American public appears to be blissfully unaware of the fact that

a)the Iowa caucuses were decided by 10% of the population of a state that represents 1% of the entire US population and

b)the 2 percentage points advantage that Hillary Clinton had in NH boils down to 8000 votes.

Has no-one heard of "sample size"? Is there no-one in the mainstream media who's prepared to place these results in their true context?

I'm occasionally howling at the moon over at YMBFA on this....

For what it's worth.

Oh, yeah - the "thrashing" that McCain gave to Romney translates to...8000 votes.
